This summer was crazy with fun events for the animals!
Whole Foods in Porter Ranch hosted the "Dog Days of Summer" where we raised money giving dog massages, Pam from Paw Prince Studios did portraits, and a raffle was held for the Pet Orphans of Southern California. Some lucky dogs found homes, which is the best part!!

One of the most unique and fun events we were a part of was Cha Ching for Cha Cha at Safari Sams. The newly formed charity, Paws for a Cause L.A., held the event to raise money for Actors and Others for Animals.
We were a vendor among the very unique vendors that night. All the
entertainers were awesome! The Flarowitz Sisters hosted and kept
everyone cracked up. It was my lucky night when I won an extraordinary
painting by the talented Lillian Lassen in their Chinese raffle.

The animal massage class held at WagVille
was so much fun! I met a MySpace friend for the first time named
Jamie, and her name was drawn for a gift certificate. We had a full
room that included a dog massager from Paris, and some human massage
therapists also. Denise Fleck was there from Sunny-Dog Ink and she shared information about her wonderful First Aid/CPR classes, which teaches you life-saving skills that you'll never want to wish you had! Her Pet First Aid Kit is the most complete I have ever seen by far! Please see her latest class schedule below, and please keep checking her website for new classes being added all the time!

5K runs in different cities, starting in Los Angeles in Griffith Park.
We were proud to be a part of such a wonderful event! There was
agility, flyball and frisbee tricks. The race was really exciting and
very inspiring. I was lucky enough to win Tamar Gellar's wonderful book The Loved Dog in the raffle! What an amazing angel Tamar is!
